Once my bff said that if she wished for something and wrote it down, it would be came true in a short period. Hmmm.. I don't really believe it actually, I mean, how come, right? Sometimes, she doesn't write it down but also using the picture of thing she wants as profile picture, lol, and last time I saw her social media account, her profile picture was Guess handbag. Guys, please lend me your help to pray that hopefully she'll get that handbag soon. Okay, let's try her 'method'!

Well, this is my list.
  1. ONE OK ROCK concert ticket. Oh my gosh, I looove this band, Taka is really good at singing and his English pronunciation isn't bad at all. Toru, Tomoya and Ryota are awesome, too. They'll go to Jakarta this month as a part of their "Who are you?? Who are we??" Asian tour. Unfortunately, I can't go to their concert. I have to save my money for more important things.

C.h.a.o.s.m.y.t.h.; one of my favorite songs
  2. New paid TV subscription. Aora TV sucks! I've been subscribing to Aora TV for like 1,5 years. Suddenly, from 1 November, they changed the package without any confirmation in advance and some of my favorite channels―Fox Crime, Animax, National Geographic Music, SyFy―are missing! I currently watch Dexter, Hunter X Hunter, Twilight Zone, etc. And what I like about NGM is they play non-mainstream music. Justin Bieber, One Direction, The Wanted and some, yeah, artists like that are not my cup of tea. Now, I'm beyond angry to Aora TV! Sigh.
I've already considered Telkomvision Prime Family, Telkomvision Prime Style, Big TV Sun and Indovision Venus but I still cannot decide which one will I subscribed.

  3. Nail polishes. There's no "too much" for nail polishes. I have like more than 30 of it and I always feel that it's still not enough. When I see #NOTD posts in instagram, I'm like "Oh, look at those beautiful colors, this one looks like candy, this one looks so elegant, this red color is so classic while mine are too dark/too bright/too red/too vibrant/too-whatever-i-just-need-a-new-friggin-nail-polish!"  I always wish I have all shade of nail polish from #000000 to #FFFFFF (hexadecimal color code). Haha! Well, at least I have to have this. Soon. Very soon.

    Nail Polishes Wishlist
  4. Hoodie I want that hoodie which worn by Bert McCracken in this video. It's really cute!

You can see the hoodie at 0:11
  5. I don't know where to buy it. But, any hoodie in grey or black will be okay actually. But―again, hahaha― Bert McCracken is so hot that polka-dot hoodie is sooo cute!

  6. Some money to fix my digital rebel. I haven't can't use my DSLR cam for almost 4 months because it was suddenly blank. I couldn't turned it on. I went to Sinar Photo (authorized Datascrip collecting point) and they told me that my cam had to be sent to Jakarta to be checked by Datascrip staff, it costs  ± IDR 400k, for repairing, maybe it would be IDR 1,2mio or more. Ugh! Then I brought my cam to RTC Jln. Diponegoro. And you know what, when a staff trying to turned on my cam, it worked. So, I just buy a spare charger because he said that maybe my charger wasn't work properly, so my battery was like discharge quickly. On the next week, I went to Senggigi, Lombok (will post about it later), after taking few pictures and change the mode from landscape to manual, my cam kept beeping. I tried to force turning it off by replacing the battery and you know what, from then, it can't be turned on again. Frig.
Hope my wishes come true asap. So what's on your wishlist?

It's like I'll never stop making a post about beach. I love beach! Sitting on the sand under the sunlight, listening to the water riffles just like Earth is whispering, wondering what kind of mysteries lay beneath the sea and stare at perfectly clear horizon. That's awesome! So, beach is like an escape for me when I feel down, bad mood or angry to the world.

Well, that's too much.

Still, like Suluban beach (that was being the pitstop at The Amazing Race season 22 leg 4, yes I'm a big fan of that TV show!) & Uluwatu temple, Pandawa beach is located at southern part of Bali, precisely at Desa Kutuh (desa means village). It used to be called as Secret beach because it lies behind hill and it was hard to find this place. Then, the government of Badung regency was aware of its potential to attract not only local , but also international tourist, so the government built roads and another public facilities to promote this beach. They also put some statues on the rock wall, each of them represents Pandava (or in my country spelled as Pandawa) character on Mahabharata legend. Too bad, I forgot to take some pics of those statues. Shoot!

The long and winding road :p

It's kinda slippery because of the sand..
I actually went there with my friends few months ago. From Nusa Dua, it takes about 20-30 minutes to get there by car. There's no public transportation heading directly to the beach. Yeah, poor Bali. I mean it's like no public transportation at all beside those on the city. But, usually, nearby hotels provide free shuttle to this beach. If you stay in Nusa Dua, Kuta, Seminyak or Denpasar, it is better if you rent a car or motorbike. It's okay taking a cab but, geez, it will be so expensive.

It was 4 pm when me and my friends got there, because we skipped our lunch, we were then going to buy some chicken satay (for only IDR 20,000), grilled corn (IDR 5000) and juice (IDR 5,000-15,000) at a local warung. Fair price for a place like this. There're also a restaurant, souvenir shops, art and craft shop, body massage booth, various warungs and public toilet near the parking lot. Beside, from parking lot, you can watch some peoples doing paragliding down from the hill.

"Look, Mum! I'm flying without wings!"

After enjoying our meals, we headed to the beach that was only less than 50 m in distance, and holyfrig, this beach was so beautiful! The sand was white, the waves were rather calm, the sky was vibrant blue!

Pandawa beach #1

Pandawa beach #2
Pandawa beach wasn't as crowded as Kuta beach, that's what I like the most. It was also quite clean and no annoying sellers who push people to buy her goods. Or, at least I didn't meet them. Just like another Balinese, locals were warm welcoming. Oh, I almost forgot that cellphone's signals were very poor in there. Even, I use provider 3 and I did't get any. But it's okay, who'll need it anyway if you were in a beautiful place like this?

p.s.
Sorry for low-quality pictures. I forgot where I stored the RAW files :'(

Hello people! It's like about months ago since I wrote my last post. I know that I'm lazy and right now I wouldn't make an excuse. I remember when I made this blog. I said to myself that I will share my experiences, write it down and post it regularly, at least I will write an article per month. But the reality is, my blog is like an empty desert. Yeah, apparently my spirit could fade easily. On the other hand, there are a lot of fellow bloggers who can continue making a good writings/articles and post more than 5 of it per month. It wows me. A lot.
Well, yeah...
No one hates shopping. I think shopping is in the 2nd place of guilty pleasure. Number one is eating that salty fatty juicy delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu when we are on  diet. Hahaha... Well, I, in fact, hate when I pay for something, hehehe, but I love it the process of shopping itself. Do you get it? But no matter how much we spend our money for shopping, please keep our financial in  good condition. My mom once told me, "If you want to buy something, remember 2 things. First, you need it. Second, you can afford it." I always remember what my mom said but couldn't do it anyway, lol. Yeah, sometimes we just can hold that desire for having that new stuff, feel it, smell it and using it for the first time. That's feel so great. Well, is it just me? ; )

I can add Chicken Cordon Bleu pic, can't I? ; )
In here, Indonesia, there's a store called Zalora, which is the biggest online in this country. It is pretty much similar to Zappos (US) or Zalando (UK). Beside Indonesia, Zalora also available in some another countries in Asia; Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Zalora Indonesia offers a broad selection of items, like clothing, bag, purse, shoes, beauty product, perfume and even some sportswear. The targeted market are everyone; women, men and kids. In here, you can find both of international and local brands, like Nine West, Hush Puppies, Aigner, Atypical, Sweet Batik, Nefertiti and hundreds more. I think I will make the longest blog post ever if I write the whole brands down.
Shopping at Zalora is as easy as one two three. Just select the items and its size, add it to cart then checkout the items. After that you'll be asked to log into your account, but if you've never shop at Zalora before, just sign up for a new account. Don't forget to subscribe to the newsletter, because by subscribing it, you'll receive an email contains of coupon code that worth for IDR 75,000. Yay! It's pretty great, isn't it? That coupon code can be used if you spend more than or as much as IDR 300,000
.
Zalora Indonesia home page (Zalora.co.id)
Zalora provides 3 kind of payment methods; bank transfer, credit card or COD (cash on delivery). Aha, have I mentioned that they offer free nationwide delivery? That's what I love the most from this store. They state ìt on their website that deliveries will take about 2 - 6 days. Two weeks ago my friend bought a pair of shoes and just need 2 days from Jakarta to Bali for delivery. And last week I bought 2 tops, 1 short and a pair of shoes and the items is received one week later. Well, it's okay for me because it isn't too different with the time frame.
Sometimes, shopping online is like a gambling. We haven't known yet about items' conditions. I mean, there is photo and product description but it doesn't give 100% guarantee that the items look exactly like the picture. Thankfully, Zalora provides free return in 7 days. What a relieve ;-)

Some cute stuffs at Zalora Indonesia:
- Surfer Girl Apparel S/S Romper Green
- Palomino Chelsea Handbag
- Tucked In Stingray Octagonal Bracelet
-Nine West Wispy Flats Sandals
So here's my conclusion about this store:
Pros:
- broad selection of items
- free delivery
- free return
- easy to search some particular items

Cons:
- shipping is kinda slow
- dispatch time is also slow (based on my latest experience; I make payment at June 26 and they send my items at June 29)

Repurchase from this store again? Yes! Especially on the sale season ; )

Mine, as usual, spent at hospital where I worked at, went home at late night, turned the TV on and then I watched Dexter. Sigh, it's like I don't even know whether weekend is exist. Hahaha... But, because I don't work at regular time Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, there's no way I can say "I hate Monday!", I just hate double-shift work :D

And, for you guys who hate Monday or just wanna chill out, I have a playlist of some cool songs. Well, some of its are not chilling out actually *peace sign*. What-meow-ever, just check out! : )

Well at least that was the plan
If ever a boy needed a holiday
If ever a girl needed someone to hold
I just hope I don't act the same way
By the time that I get that old"

(The White Stripes - I Want To Be The Boy That Warms Your Mother's Heart)

Hello people! : )

Happy Chinese new year! Well, okay I'm late about a week, but still, welcome to the year of the snake. My shio (also called Chinese Zodiac) is snake too and some says when the year and your shio is matched, you're gonna have a bad luck on that year. I've read a prophecy from Suhu Yo--a famous Fengshui expert in my country--that on this year, people whose snake shio will financially down and because of it they'll often get headache -_- Well, I don't believe on prophecy anyway.

Since I moved to Bali, Chinese new year isn't a wow anymore. In my hometown, where a lot of Chinese live there, Chinese new year is like a big day. There are festival, barong-sai dance, and also the yummy kue keranjang. Even though, I'm not a Chinese--and none of my relatives are--every Chinese new year we always have kue keranjang at home. My mom's friend said that there's a philosophy behind the sweet taste and shape of this food, Chinese believe that it is a symbol of happiness, confidence and harmony for a year ahead. Fyi, celebrating Chinese new year in my country is prohibited and against the law until ex-president Abdurrachman Wahid allowed it on 2000.

Ouh, I almost forget that 3 days ago is also Valentine's day! Happy Valentine's day for you guys! And happy Halloween for some of you, hahaha. In my country, which most of the citizen are Muslim, Valentine's day always be a controversy; some peoples think that celebrating Valentine's day is deviated because it's like we commemorate St. Valentine's death and celebrating Valentine's day is originally a Christians culture. Moreover, they think that Valentine's day will be an excuse for teenager doing forbidden sex. Others think that Valentine's day is fine, it's just a special day when we express love to our lover, family or someone else. Pros and cons are normal in every situation. Just hoping nobody gets hurt because of its.

Well, for me, Valentine's day is just another average day because love can be expressed anytime, explicitly or just by some implicit action. The special things about Valentine's day are free chocolate! I got some chocolate snack from my besties at lunch time. I also got a venti cafe mocha and a NY cheese cake--which I prefer better than chocolate bar--from my bf. Holy sweet feline's God!

So, what's up, February? February is FUN!!

Yay, combo post!

Three days ago, my boyfriend draw some pics on his motorbike using a white permanent marker and I was just standing there and taking some photos of it. Check it out!

And last but not least, I give a bonus, taken on my neighbor's motorbike...

All photos taken by me using Digital Rebel T3 18-55mm and manual 50 mm f/1.4

Happy new year, guys! I know I'm late for 10 days :D

My new year celebration is not special, I went to bed early and didn't even do the countdown and see fireworks party. I got a lot invitation from my friends to go to some parties at some club or bars but, well, I'm just too damn tired at that moment. And, yeah, I had a tummy-ache because I ate too much at the evening. My boyfriend's dad made a ton of sate lilit, which is one of super mega ultra delicious foods in this universe, so yeah I couldn't control my greedy animalistic tummy. Hahaha..

Sate lilit
Sate lilit, whoaa, so damn sexy..!
But even my new year celebration sucks, but yes, I do make a lot of wishes for this years. Some of them is just upgrades or renewal of my resolution at 2012. Well, 2012 itself is such a huge year for me. My health condition is pretty well, thank God for it. Oh, and I got a promotion also, learned a lot of subject from the experts, pet 2 kitties, met so many new friends and hanging out with them. I'm not such a homey girl with an awkward social life but since I moved to Bali, I rarely hung out with my friends. I love them!

I hope that 2013 will be more fantastic. Just like any other people, I hope that what have been going well on 2012 will be better and what I messed up last year will be solved this year. In particular points, these are my resolution on 2013.
  1. Educate myself. I want to continue my study actually, I want to study Physics and Math again, playing with numbers, solve some puzzles, I think it'll be fun. Or maybe I can take a foreign language course, or photography or drum or whatever as long as I can learn a new thing.
  2. Spend less, save more, invest more and more. This needs a lot and big effort of course, because I just can't say no to sale, hahaha :D Sometimes, I buy any stuffs that I actually do not need it because it's on sale. And after it, I just like 'Oh God why did I buy this crap? I should save it for my future for bla bla bla because bla bla...'
  3. Live healthily. More fruits, complex carbos, vegetables, proteins, and any other good things. Less caffeine, sugar, salty snacks, junk food and fried thingy. And yeah, I have to exercise more!
  4. Behave nicer to other people : )
  5. Read more books! Oh I have a lot of book list that I want to read on Goodreads. I wish I read more than 50 books (fiction and non-fiction) this year.
  6. Giving more to the community
  7. Buy a new stove because my old one is destroyed by my kitties.
  8. TBA
I hope I can make my wishes come true. Wish me luck! : )
